Online Banking Security Update:  One Time Passcode

 

At Arbor Bank, we are always looking for ways to enhance the security of our products.
Keeping your accounts and information safe is a top priority. With that in mind, we are implementing additional Passcode Security measures to Online Banking.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • This update will take place on July 7th
  • When you login to Online Banking after implementation, you will be prompted to enter a phone number to receive a One Time Passcode
  • This Passcode can either be by Text or Phone call
  • After your device is recognized and registered with the One Time Passcode, you shouldn’t be prompted from that device again

 

On July 7th, all users who log into Standard Online Banking through an internet browser will be prompted to the “Set Up phone numbers” screen.

  • Home Phone: required field. This will be the number used to receive a one-time passcode via automated phone call
  • Mobile Phone:  This number will be used to receive a one-time passcode via text message.
  • Special Note:  Users who only have a mobile phone are encouraged to input the same mobile phone number into both the Home Phone and Mobile Phone fields.

 

 

On July 7th, all users who launch the Arbor Mobile app will be prompted with an “Add New Mobile” screen.

  • Mobile Number:  This number will be used to either receive a one-time passcode via text message or one-time passcode via phone call.

 

After July 7th, you can update the phone numbers used with the one-time passcodes by logging into Standard Online Banking through an internet browser.
